Here Be Witches

Wanda Watkins, Witch-in-Chief

Wanda is Mirror, Mirror's founder and witch-in-chief.  On her good days, she remembers the names of all seven of her favorite toadstools--on her bad days, she doesn't even wear her hat.  She has a long list of boring relatives, whom she occasionally invites over for a taste of her infamous green tea and Newt Soup.  She loves fall, black cats, the color orange, and reading on her porch in bare feet.

Beulah Potts, Senior Witchy Editor

Beulah is a youthful two-hundred-and-three, and has been for the past two-hundred-and-three years.  She has three, horribly behaved children, one blind husband, and an old cat named Porky.  In her long life, she has been an archaeologist, a professor, a newspaper journalist, an editor for a scholarly paper, and a beauty queen.  She loves traveling and cooking, and eating small, naughty children.

Sophie LaRue, Assistant Witchy Editor

Sophie hails from New Orleans, where she runs a small, discreet potions shop specializing in youth lotions and love formulas.  In her spare time, she enjoys long night walks around the city of New Orleans and deciphering ancient French texts.

 Claire Luna, Contributing Witch

Claire is Mirror, Mirror's news correspondent.  Her special charm has cost more than one man their heart--along with their brains, fingers, and left toes.  She enjoys singing, her pet owl, Mimsy, and flying on her great-grandmother's wooden broomstick.

Maggie Mim, A Good Ol' Witch

Maggie occasionally contributes to Mirror, Mirror.  You may see some of her witty writings in OWL's Oddities, Toad Today, or Witchy Reviews.  She is so old, that some say she edited Shakespeare's manuscripts.  She enjoys hot cocoa, slow dancing, and dreary, rainy days.
