1.  Top on our list, and relatively new to the publishing scene is Black Lantern Publishing.  Black Lantern Publishing (BLP) is a web-zine and print magazine published four times per year in PDF and limited print editions.  The magazine features some amazing emergent writers, and a few good seasoned ones as well.  Not to mention the amazing, spooktacular artwork that most magazines would find tough to come by.  Their 4th issue is available too at their online store in both PDF and print format.

2.  If your boss is being a real werewolf and escapism is what you seek, look no further than TOR magazine.  This online magazine features some of the best sci-fi and fantasy writers out there today, and we've gotta say, we love the novel excerpts as well! Visit TOR and see what's new in the world of sci-fi and fantasy!      

3. Ringing in number three is an oldie but a goodie! The Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine has been around longer than Wanda Watkins herself, and somehow it manages to deliver the best in new mystery and thrillers today.  The website features snippets and stories from the current issues, or you can purchase a subscription.
